Notification of Acceptance: Vendors will be notified of acceptance or rejection on date of jurying.
All Vendors Must Be Juried
Jury Dates: April 16, July 16 & September 17, 2023

Upon receipt of this completed vendor application the Mission Arts Council Craft Market Committee will assign a jury date to the vendor by email. On their assigned jury date all vendors must be prepared to leave a sample of their work ($25 value) as their contribution to the craft market’s fundraising gift basket raffle, and have submitted all vendor fee payments/cheques. Vendors will be notified of acceptance or rejection on the date of their jurying.

Acceptance Criteria
  • All products must be at least 75% handmade, hand-crafted art and craft made by the artisan.
  • Your product will be juried for quality, originality, craftsmanship and durability.
  • Deadline for submissions is August 31, 2023. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
  • All accepted vendors must donate a sample of their product (valued at a minimum $25) to be used in our fundraising gift basket raffle. Please be prepared to donate this item on the day of your jurying. If you are not accepted into the market, your item will be returned to you.
  • Vendors selling food products must have a valid Food Safe Level 1. (You will be prompted to upload a copy of your certificate during the application process)
Mandatory Conditions
  • Dress appropriate for the season
  • All tables must be covered and skirted to the floor
  • No personal heaters allowed, dress in layers to avoid getting cold
  • No pets by order of the Mission School District 75, unless authorized.
  • Under no circumstances will vendors be allowed to move their booth space, which is assigned prior to arrival.
  • No Canopies ~ No Frames – No Exceptions
  • A valid Food Safe Level 1 certificate must be posted and visible at your booth if selling food products.
  • Vendors selling food products may give out FREE samples only. Charging for samples will not be permitted.
  • Vendor security tags (2 lanyards) will be provided upon arrival for set up. They must be worn at all times during set up and for the duration of the market. Lanyards will be picked up before take-down.

Payments

Payments may be made online during the online application via PayPal. Similarly, payment may be made by e-transfer or by cheque. All payments must be made by the date of your jurying.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received prior to September 1, 2023. Cancellations after September 1, 2023 will not receive a refund.

Refunds Upon Cancellation

  • If you have paid by cheque, your cheque will be returned to you or funds refunded if it has been processed.
  • If you have paid by phone, the funds will be credited back to your credit card.
  • If you have paid by e-transfer, you will receive an e-transfer for your refund.
